The back cover is coming along alright, I originally wanted to use some of my painted tree's but they didn't transfer well into photoshop and so close to the deadline I think it's okay if I propose the back cover for now and maybe attempt better tree's for the End Of Year show.
Thinking of the wording for the back cover took me a while, I wanted to explain what it was about but not TOO obvious. Also I'm not sure about how many characters I want to focus on at this point, obviously J will be the main one but as regards to others that 'wake up' in the realm I'm not sure. I started with 5 but now I'm thinking less. It's going to progress more as I storyboard really.
In my notebook as regards to this I have written (and crossed out) :
when five strangers fall asleep, the wake up in another universe/world. Haunted by their new found reality, they must work together to escape this nightmare?
What if when you fall asleep you wake up somewhere else? Someone else? Another world? Another time?
What if all of this was real?
Stranger must work together to unravel the mystery that surrounds their nightmares?
In the end I decided to give it an ambiguous back cover, I think I would keep it the same for the first 2 books and maybe the third, and then on the inset page have a little more specifics about what is the story line in the book.
